Shelby are quantity surveyors and principal designer on a new youth centre that is currently underway in Fleetwood, Lancashire. This purpose-built facility, being constructed on church grounds, will comprise:
- A large hall for sports, games and performing arts
- Several adaptable areas to be used for recreational activities and creative arts
- A large recreational area with pool tables, table tennis and games consoles
- A kitchen
- Car parking for up to 25 vehicles, including EV charging points
The Boathouse Fleetwood will provide a range of facilities and services that are specially tailored to meet the needs and demands of youngsters within the town. It is an active partnership between the local authority, charity sector and private investors.
