Work is officially underway to transform a derelict former Lancashire hospital building into a vibrant youth community centre. Fleetwood Youth Hub, which is due to open this summer, will provide a safe space for young people to meet and play.
Shelby is delighted to be providing Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Principal Designer on this scheme, working alongside charity group Fleetwood Trust, main contractor KROL CORLETT GROUP, architect Mason Gillibrand Architects and the local supply chain.
The works, which are being funded by a £1m grant from the Youth Investment Fund, were officially launched by Fleetwood Trust Chairman Lord Tom McNally and CEO Charley Wilkinson, Fleetwood Town Community Trust CEO John Hartley and Kroll Corlett Group’s Michelle Eager, Craig Ward, Simon Gornall and Tom Singleton.
