A junior football team is wearing its new kit with pride, thanks to Shelby Group. The Under 7s team at Poulton Town Junior Football Club, in Lancashire, was seeking a sponsor to help fund its new strip. Shelby Group stepped forward with a generous donation, and the team has kicked off the new season in its distinctive tangerine and black kit.
Shelby Group’s Chairman Phil Taylor manages the Under 7s team in his spare time. He said:
“Grassroots sports, like junior football, are incredibly important for local communities. The youngsters in my team will develop life-long friendships, alongside learning how to play this beautiful game and staying fit and healthy.
“I am delighted that Shelby Group has been able to make a valuable donation to this community group. We, as a company, takes our role of Corporate Social Responsibility incredibly seriously.”
