Students at a Leeds school put pen to paper to design their own retail store department during a Business and Enterprise Day. Shelby Group Director Steve Tighe volunteered, alongside Tom Shelley, Head of Interior Design at Bowman Riley, to lead the creative workshops at Carr Manor High School. All Year 8 students were given the opportunity to become budding store designers during the sessions on Friday 17th March.
Steve said:
“It was great to be involved in such a rewarding and enjoyable event, giving the Year 8 students an insight into the world of retail construction.”
Shelby Group’s sessions at Carr Manor were part of an industry enrichment day organised by the Ahead Partnership, a social enterprise connecting businesses with their local communities.
