Shelby is appointed as Project Manager for the master development of a factory site belonging to a prestigious Scottish cashmere manufacturer. The first phase includes refurbishment of an existing building and construction of a new facility, alongside associated infrastructure and service works.
The scope of works includes:
- Site establishment and enabling works
- Enhancement, refurbishment and reconfiguration of one building
- New build construction of a second building and related works
- Installation of services and infrastructure for both buildings
- External works aligned with design requirements
- Future-proofing measures to support subsequent phases of the master development
Shelby is managing a programme comprising a 6-month pre-contract phase, followed by an 8-month construction period. The construction schedule is carefully coordinated to accommodate client equipment phasing and sectional completions, ensuring smooth integration between construction activities and operational needs.
