Shelby provided project management services, and worked alongside UC Build, McLeod + Aitken, Whittam Cox Architects and other contractors on the scheme.
Steve Tighe, Shelby Director, said: “This project is one that we are particularly proud of due to the complex nature of the scope and phasing.”
Shelby also project managed Foodhall expansion and renewal schemes at M&S Vangarde, York, and Wolstanton, Staffordshire. Like Meadowhall, both projects were phased to minimise disruption to customers.
In early 2021, Shelby programme managed a rollout of works to create additional M&S Foodhall space within 21 stores nationwide by converting existing café and clothing and home zones.
