Shelby provided cost consultancy services for the transformation of the former Trebarwith Hotel site into Gwel Trebarwith - a landmark residential development on the clifftops of Newquay, Cornwall. The scheme comprises townhouses, apartments, a double-width penthouse and a detached beach house, all with private beach access.

Overlooking Newquay’s Great Western Beach, the historic Trebarwith Hotel was formed between 1899 and 1920 from the amalgamation of several adjoining properties. Shelby’s role included overseeing feasibility, tendering of works and the pre-construction phase, ensuring the project was set up for successful delivery.
