December marks five years since Shelby first became involved in ambitious plans to transform a derelict hospital in Lancashire into a thriving community hub. Over this time, thanks to the unwavering dedication of many passionate individuals, this once-neglected building has been brought back to life.
The latest phase of development at The HUB Fleetwood has been completed, introducing a café and community kitchen, a community laundrette, and a versatile studio space set to open in early 2025. Additionally, a community garden is on track to be unveiled in the new year.
The HUB Fleetwood now proudly offers a range of vital services, including:
